New Mexico | that their losses on production, exceed their basically guarranteed $30 per head profit on harvest and processing...then things will change.
It's kinda like a simple card game. Sure someone can own the whole deck, but then there are no other players, thus no real game is possible, thus no profits for the sole deckholder either.
Deal the cards out to players and everyone plays for something and the deck of course revloves, players come and go, money if used works it's way around the table etc.
The pork industry as a whole for the past 10 to 14 years has displayed that Money is NO object.
The whole must feel that their market is infinite, thus also has so far supposedly justified an infinite money supply for expansion, and to cover losses too.
Ya, the chinese, or the next one might show up and eventually bail the usa pork industry, but so far the timing of that expected bet is perhaps a tad spendy ( even for corps who can basically go to the Street and PRINT their own dough ).
The continued play of the expansion ( over production ) hand just means to much pork available to consumers who might want to spend their dough on other foods also.
