Illinois | The same thing happend to us in December of 2002. Came home from Pre-K christmas program for our oldest and at that time our only one, anyway the pump was running. Toilet valve was not stuck, water softener was not running, no water was running. Turns out is was the water line in the well. It was palstic and had cracked. Anyway, my brother came over to help the hubby was in the well in water up to the tops of his thighs, cold wind was blowing. Fun afternoon, but we had running water that night! | |
