Liberal, NDP or the Bloc not one of the leaders in the opposition party should ever gain control of this country, the past is the past and would agree Paul Martin was a good PM but he is not in politics anymore, what have we got now. The idiots in the opposition would not be any better in fact I believe they would just push the accelerator a little faster on the train wreck. We have what the rest of the world needs we just need to manage it right and not give away our natural resources, and if the Americans want to be protectionist that is their right we will just sell our resources to other emerging countries, america is not the only game in town, building a dependancy on the american economy and that trade program will bite us in the arse and it has, need diverse trade agreements with other countries as well. Time to quit the shoving match with the US on trade and start focusing on other trade partners, there has never been any such thing as free trade the NAFTA agreement was only worth the paper it was written on. | |
