West Ky
A lot of it here in W. Ky. Places that got tremendous amounts of rain leached the nitrogen out of the soil. First time for here. A lot of 130 bu corn. Heard of some corn making 70 bu and late planted corn with late applied N making over 200 which is much of. Had all the early corn here make 150-160 and the replant make 115. All fields ran out at the same time. Finally a corn guy from Ohio came down and immediately recognized the N diffenciency. Everybody else didn't have a clue just like us. Samples sent off came back all eractic. We were looking forwrd to shelling 200bu corn but that wasnt the case. Beans are much better than previous years though.
