The bridge engines had a electronic waste gate on the turbo, 30 lb max boost on the bridge engine. Once the ecm senses 30 lb it electronically reduces fuel to the engine, have a 04 bridge engine with that deleted and a pdi turbo and tune now truck runs around 45 lb of boost compared to 29-30


Those PDI stage one tunes make those Cats real happy. Even if you deleted the electronic waste gate on an MBN, they wouldn't have enough fuel to push 45 lbs. of boost with the stock Cat file. PDI stage one will solve that issue.

We have a PDI stage one tune on a 6NZ. 43 lbs of boost in hot weather, more in cool weather. Better fuel economy, lower EGT's than a stock Cat 550 file. 200 more hp to pull your load. What's not to like about that??
