I'll add my amen to the no sewing machine gift too. Wives don't appreciate things like sewing machines or kitchen appliances as gifts no matter what she "tells" you. Been there, done that.
In 44 years of marriage I have finally learned that. Tell her to go buy a sewing machine if she wants one, and buy her something nice that is personal and not associated with work or crafts for a gift, like jewelry, flowers, clothes ect.
Need help from the ladies....men too if you sew.
