They're only good if you're going to leave it set in one spot and charge.
If you pick it up to use it, it seems like it comes unhooked too easy.
Also you can't charge it with a regular cord unless you take the stub out.
I wound up going back to regular chargers... but I wouldn't call it a really bad idea.
