That's a quadro, not a video card. While it can function as one, its purpose is for computing horsepower, not frames per second.
Theres a few YouTube videos comparing the 10k quadro lines to the titans and top of the actual video card line(x80) and there was little improvement.
There is a world wide shortage as both AMD and Nvidia have made double the previous generations already and still have back orders through their fiscal year q2. Demand because people are sitting at home and realizing their computers suck and they want to upgrade, plus bitcoin is peaking again currently.
I didn't investigate the card much - - - - - was trying to push home the point that $160 for a graphics card is - - - - well far too low.
I'm in process of setting up a 4k monitor - - - plus I have 4 1920x1080 24" monitors.
Screen real estate is very important here.
I don't understand how people work on a laptop and find the screen adequate.
Many years ago ran into a study that showed that and office worker output varied in relation to the screen size.
Just a few weeks ago I was really wishing I had the big boy up already - - - - -really needed more monitor space.
The space makes some of those multi screen jobs a pile faster - - - you can see all the screen at once.
(Then I have 20 desktops - - - - you get the idea!) |
