Leave a check between your 2 trials. Then, just start counting and comparing each “side” to the check.
That is how research does it in small plots with hand boom sprayers, multiple iterations/ranges within plot, and multiple plots scattered here to China.
Testing/trialing is the only way you’ll prove it to yourself either way.....
