Von, I have frozen quite a bit of fresh fish and got the advice a long time ago to put the fish in water and freeze that way...kind of like freezing in a block of ice by the time you are done. Keeps the fish fresher. Don't know how you'd do that with a Food Saver but this has worked great for me.
