March 1 deadline is for personal property. Make sure you get into the Cop. Assessor's office & sign up for any deductions that you are eligible for. You only have to apply once and they will remain in affect. Only one that you would lose that I can think of off hand would be the mortgage exemption. Only remains in affect if you have a motgage on your home and isn't available for farmground.
