Subject: Hoosier Property Tax Update

This is a up date to the post I made earlier.

After I cooled off and looked at them closer, I see how they say taxes went down, yet I pay more.

We lost all the "State Property Tax Relief".

I have one tract that is 30 acres with no buildings. Taxes last year were $877.02 minus $196.76 (state tax relief)..I pay $680.26.
This year taxes are $726.58 minus $0000 (state tax relief)=$726.58.

At the bottom of the sheet (on the Yee Haa elect me again I'll save ya more money line) it shows how my taxes are down$150.44 or 17.15% ....only a politician could figure things this way.

This figures $24.22/acre for property tax for bare farmland...how does this compare to other states?
