 The ratchet binders will tighten as tight as you want and much easier than lever type .

Ratchets will take longer to get setup if they are left screwed in after you use them and don't have all the slack out of the chain to where you have to reset them , but you can tighten them however tight you want easier than a lever type and when they bounce they won't release eather .   I used to like lever type till I had to secure lots of machinery and there is nothing like a ratchet booming down a 621 pan  or hooking boomer to tracks and side of trailer without using chains .
