South Central Wisconsin | Just to add to conversation... The local story is the sprayer operator told the deputy, he had no intentions of stopping at the stop sign. To srsu99's comment, both roads at the intersection are paved( blacktop or chipped and sealed). There is a half-a%%ed field entrance right at the corner where they ended up in the field. I think that is how they managed to get so far out in the field . The corner has had at least one fatality in recent years. A car pulled out in front of a loaded tandem grain truck and splat. I don't think the guy driving the truck has been back in truck since. | |
