North East Kansas
Im not having the skipping problem, but I am having similar issues. I have digifarm also, and am using the 372 and the 20/20. Last year we had a 2150 planter with just the pro 700, and still had digifarm and a 372 and it was all on the same tractor. Last year we didn't have a single issue with the GPS. This year we have a 1255 precision ready planter, and it is all run by a 20/20. This year I have had issues with the GPS. I think the message I kept getting was that communication was lost with the satellites or the receiver. I would have to restart the tractor to get everything to work again, and when I restarted the tractor the 20/20 would always have me going the wrong direction. I would have to drive in circles until the 20/20 got it figured out. I also had another issue happen quite often. Randomly the tractor (magnum 245) would act weird and start steering zigzags. It happened fairly often and it was almost as if the tractor had no idea where it was. 3/4 the time it would steer straight, but it looked terrible when it started weaving throughout the field. It would weave back and forth and the cross track would be off by 6" on both sides of the line so 12". No steering adjustments helped, and when it was acting ok the steering was perfectly straight.

What cable are you talking about that can run straight from the receiver? I would be interested in that. My A and B port are both being used also on the 372 since the digifarm beacon plugs into the receiver also.
