| We have experienced an ongoing problem with my tractor and planter. Configuration as follows:
DigiFarm cellular RTK into Case IH with 262 receiver and Trimble NAV 2. Harness out of NAV 2 connected to PP 2020 monitor which controls V Drive/Rowflow. The map constantly shows overlaps or gaps, and the gaps are large enough at times to show up on the 2020 map (not exclusively fieldview map). Worse yet, once in a while the signal that the 2020 interprets shows the entire machine doing a 360 turn in the middle of a straight pass in the middle of the field.
Sent GPS logs off to Precision Planting a couple of years ago and they said that indeed the GPS data was showing inconsistent positioning (backing up, jumping forward) instead of a steady stream in one direction through the field.
Seems that Precision Planting says it's the bad GPS data, DigiFarm says their information is good, Case IH says the tractor steers straight, so no one seems to want to claim ownership over resolving the problem.
I know there were some patches for the 372, but not convinced that upgrading from 262 to 372 will solve the problem.... I'm looking for any advice here.
