They are a very well built sprayer, the booms are built very heavy. As far as the factory touch down "hoops" on the ends of the boom, the original aluminum hoops are weak but now they have steel ones available and they hold up very well. I spray a lot of hilly ground that can be very tough on a sprayer and I have never had to do any welding to ours. I spray from 8 to 15 mph.
