Subject: Re: JD vac planter problem

western iowa
I have only had a vac unit plant light one time and it was the flex tube leaking that connects the unit to the vac pipe. Ckeck for leaks. I have a 250 monitor and if a sensor is going bad it will say it is planting off high or low. I can clean it and move it to the next row and the same thing some times the sensors are bad. I had 3 go bad in one day this year and non the rest of planting. Vacs are a pretty simple planter without a lot of up keep involved. I will never go back to a finger pickup.
