C KS | When my truck is hooked onto a trailer the park brake light on the dash is slow to come on (15-30 seconds) the trailer brakes are setting properly. If I unhook the air lines a VERY SMALL puff of air comes out (the red line I believe) and the light comes on. Needless to say without a trailer the park light comes on as soon as you pull out on the valve. I have had it on two very different trailers and the same results, so I don't think its in the trailer.
Is my problem in the dash valves?
BY THE WAY. If anyone thinks I'm cracked worrying about this idiot light, it is because I cannot idle up the engine until it is on. | |
