East Saskatchewan | I have a problem with a 2005 TJ 500 with the QSX 15 engine. It stalled for no apparent reason and won't run for more than a few seconds now. The display says Engine Fault and Engine Controller Offline. The day before we ran it very low of fuel so we replaced the fuel filter but it didn't help. Cleaned all of the ground cables and straps we could see, disconnected all wires from engine and cleaned and reconnected them. Put a ground wire from arm rest to fuse box. Checked the fuses that the manual listed. When it quits the fuel pump isn't running. If you cycle the key then the pump starts again and it will fire up, but it surges and runs rough until it stops again and the pump isn't running again. Of course it happens on a weekend, just wondering if there is anything else we can do until the dealer gets out here? | |
