Shaftsbury, Vermont (SW VT) | I found this on DTAC. Several ways have been tried. We have one sold and they use method #2. They've been at it for six or seven years now, and put in thousands of posts a year. Hope this helps.
SOLUTION:
AT LEAST THREE DIFFERENT METHODS HAVE BEEN TRIED ON 6000 SERIES
TRACTORS:
- REMOVE L76445 PLUG FROM BACK OF PTO HOUSING. IT IS NECESSARY TO
SOMEHOW RETAIN L76924 SHAFT, OR IT COULD SLIDE BACK AND LOSE THE
PTO DRIVE.
- REMOVE AL76915 OR AL80905 FILLER CAP. THREADS ARE 1-1/2" X 12 UNF
2B. THIS WOULD MAKE IT INCONVEIENT TO CHECK OIL LEVEL. IT IS
NECESSARY TO MAKE SURE AL79544 TRANSMISSION VENT IS OPEN, BECAUSE
THE FILLER CAP SERVES AS BOTH VENT AND DIPSTICK.
- CUT INTO THE RETURN HOSE L77046 THAT GOES FROM PRIORITY
HSG TO CASE. PUT A 1" TEE AND A LENGTH OF 1 INCH HOSE ROUTED TO A
CONVENIENT LOCATION. INSTALL A THREADED FITTING WITH CAP OR LARGE
QUIK CONNECT COUPLER. USE A COUPLER ON THE END OF HOSE FOR THE POST
DRIVER RETURN. WE HAVE NOT COMPILED PART NUMBERS FOR THIS CHANGE BUT
DEALER CAN GENERALLY COME WITH PART OUT OF HIS STORE INVENTORY.
