we have a 36 x 68 x 16 shop. we are in northeast nd. we used to heat it with a 35000 btu propane hot water heater. we have a small backup propane heater. we now have a 10kw electric boiler. dont see much difference. I think you would be ok with either one. but a boiler is made for this and a tankless water heater is just a water heater. i do not think i would spend to much more for a boiler. good luck and you will love the floor heat. any questions email me at [email protected] good luck
