| Anyone that owns one of these, I have a way to make them ride a lot better. They are designed with air bags that have an amount of air in the bags no matter if the sprayer is full of solution or empty. You have to find a pressure that works to get the best ride which is impossible. You either have enough pressure so it works when full, but when the weight goes down the pressure is to high and pushes the wheel against the stops and makes it ride rough. Or if you set it too low then when you're full it' on the bottom. I rigged up an air system on mine that uses a compressor from a truck for operating an air axle on a non air brake truck. I then used a height control from an air ride semi axle to maintain the right axle position on the rear axle of the sprayer. This changed my sprayer completely, went from riding like a hayrack to riding like a Buick. If anyone would like details of what I did, post a reply or call 320.510.1272 Kevin | |
