Since you're buying a Yamaha, then it's probably not needed.... but if you were buying a Ski-Doooooo, I'd definitely suggest you take a hard look at it.
Our experience with BRP suggests that you haven't by any means seen the last of your dealer...
The only question is whether the fine print in the warranty will preclude you from getting anything out of it.
