Our 9882 was a good tractor. As another poster suggested, we added more weights to front (full rack for that bracket) for fall tillage. It already had full package on rear, nothing in wheels. The transmission was hard shifting, especially between ranges. When they went to the Buhler tractors, like the 2425 they changed the shifter & improved shifting by 100%, I think. May not mean a lot depending on the type of work you do with it. However, we find ourselves backing into corners etc during tillage. The 9882 was pre-electronic engine, I believe.
