Valparaiso, NE | On an older TL you should not have to separate spans the change the boot. There is a hitch ball that is actually the joint between the towers. You just take out the bolts on both sides of the boot, lift the boot and both pieces of pipe out. Changed out many of those boots as they get old and blow out. I think on the newer systems the towers might have to be split. Haven't had to change boots on anything less than 20 years old. Good luck. | |
