To use the Red October line, one pass is 'possible, but not recommended' in many cases.  I will do one pass on any field with no obstructions...a  square quarter with no fences would be the perfect place, and I would almost certainly plant that with 24 rows on the ends.  If you have point rows sometimes it works and sometimes I would not do it.  It depends on whether you are turning into the angle or out of it and what there is to hit on the outside of the field. 

 

I think there is some validitiy to Hurricane's statement a while back that you are covering acres while you are doing endrows, also.  

 

I would tend to agree that the size of the CCS tanks is the big question mark.  It took me a while but I eventually learned from running a sprayer that the size of the boom is unimportant  compared to the size of the tank.
