| I honestly don't even know how often the book recommends we should grease the 1770 16 row that we own. We tend to run our stuff a long time and as such, we take care of it. Therefore, if there is ever a stop where one person isn't doing something, they grab a grease gun and have at it. On average we grease it every 150 acres it seems. I also feel that when you're running starter fertilizer, things tend to get gummed up faster so we try to keep ahead of it.
I picked 20 acres per row because another poster had mentioned that in another thread, not because I know that to be the recommended interval. | |
