Chebanse, IL.....

Here's the Puma in-place on our 1790. However, be advised that it draws almost 40A when running. You'll need some very heavy cable direct to the battery, or a devoted battery w/a way to charge that battery. As d-pilot suggests, you could fit the stock TC compressor inside the Puma. Be advised that Tru-Count suggests the compressor be INside the cab w/the operator....and the JD air bag compressor also. We have violated those rules & our warranty. We know that.

To the original poster w/the TC compressor problem....have you checked & double checked the power wire & ground wire for breaks or frayed wiring? In 2008 we had an intermittant power problem to the compressor. Come to find out, the ground wire from the compressor to the tractor had gotten into the pivot point of the 1790 quick-coupler hitch & there was only an occasional ground made. I suppose you could have the same on the power side, or such a poor ground that it's blowing the fuse also.
