Eastern VA. No such thing as too many Magnums. | There was a little orifice disk underneath the adjustment knob on mine. You can take the little disk over to your work bench and just drill out the orifice. You should, as you suggested, control the flow with the tractor regulator. I'm assuming you're using an older 7000/8000 series Magnum, not the MX style. Sometimes the flow control is stuck and you have to get a 1/2 wrench and go inside the right rear tire and adjust it manually from the ground.
