Jefferson, SD | Has anyone added a flex fuel kit to a 3-5yr old vehicle? Right now the E85 price is around 1.53 which is $.60 better than E10. I have a flex fuel work truck and I only lose 1.3-1.5mpg running E85 so currently it's definitely the way to go. I called the Ford dealer and they don't have any way to allow flex fuels unless it came that way from the factory.
I certainly don't want to do something that will cause trouble but don't want to have to trade vehicles either.
We have a station nearby that has E-20 and E-30 but I haven't tryed anything above E-10. What is a safe upper end for non-flex vehicles? | |
