We have only had two brands and neither has been much of an issue but it CAN be depending on the road... HOw long the auger is, what angle, etc all play a part in how far away from the truck you need to be.
We always put signs up as extra warnings that we'll be on the road or just to let folks know to watch for trucks entering the road slowly, etc. Always plenty of visibility of us from a distance, no matter day or night but you can never be too careful...
