Southeastern Kansas
Dumb question, how do you measure herts? I do not remember a meter for that. My 25-45 winpower has a guage with a green area indicating volts I assume. We try to run it to the top edge when pulling 7-10 kw. It measures out to about 125 volts or 250 across with a meter. The generator case sure runs warm in hot weather, is this normal. I used the 1000 rpm shaft on a 4440 JD once and did not like it because of too much variance in rpm's when loads came off and on line. This summer we were without power for 3 days, the 6615 used a half tank in 12 hours pulling 12 kw. Also we do not run the AC in the house on the generator per an electricians advise.
