Martinsville, Ohio | THE best way is at the seed treater, which some farmers do, with an extender.
Second best is GraphEx, graphite type very small amount of material but high rhizobia counts, great for most planters and drills.
Third best is liquid applied on the seed while transferring from tender to planter/drill. That could be second best for many of you but both are time consuming.
My favorite is still the old peat based humus in a drill like a 750. You reduce the amount of seed being planted which is a good thing while getting a great home for the rhizobia until the bean breaks ground.
Inoculants have come a long way since 1994!
