NE Colorado
We've done it for years when the 11-52 price was low enough to warrent it using our 1890 air seeder and have never been able to tell a yield difference between these 10 inch bands and any method of applying 10-34 that we have used. We still band 20# of phos 2X2 with the planter along with some nitrogen as a starter. This year with 10 -34 almost twice the price of 11-52 per pound of phos we are doing all of our irrigated corn acres this way.
