Subject: Tru Count clutches and seed command

South Central Nebraska

I was looking at the tru-count website. It looks to me like their new air controlled clutches would allow you to control each unit separately. Questions I had were can you control more than 10 clutches or would you have to double up a couple rows in the middle for a 12 row planter? Also could you control the in furrow starter fertilizer and the 32% 2 x 2? I would think that you could if you had a electric valve on each hose going to each row. The question would be is it economical? We plan on using the Insight on the planter for variable rate of N as well a hybrid mapping. Might as well utilize the auto swath feature also.

Anyway it's fun to think about. notill89
