Princeton, In | Spent many hours on the lap of my other grandfather (paternal) on a MH 44 special. Always had a soft spot for the 44 series MH tractors but have never owned one myself. We do own the tractor my maternal grandfather purchased (brand new!) in 1948 after he bought back his farm. It is a 1948 model 42 Silver King. He owned a smaller used Silver King previous to this tractor, but we haven't been able to run it down. Would love to see some pictures of your restoration, enjoy. | |
