Its the same as your old 4840 engine. The hose clamp he's talking about it between the turbocharger and air cleaner and a boost gauge wouldn't show any drop in fact it might show higher boost since it's not sucking air through the filter. Wait it would show a drop after it destroyed the turbocharger and was well on the way of the pistions.
