Subject: RE: thoughts on grain load out

midwest
Ray, I run 6 bins together with 2 load out (truck augers) totalling just under 200,000 bu. Works really well here for blending and such, and a very inexpensive way to do it. I always wanted to go with the overhead load out and leg but for my application it was going to be a challenge, and i needed about a 150ft leg (very expensive). I load a semi in about 10 min. or less. with 8" out and 10" up to truck, fast enough for me.

Now a question. Does anyone out there know of a remote or know how to rig one up that would start all the motors when you pull under the augers? I have 2= 10hp and 2= 7.5hp on 4 switchs is there an easier way. Something like the clapper would work really well if not for the noise, just joking but along those lines. Thanx Jason
