SE South Dakota | It's is on my list of summer vacations to completely circle Lake Superior, by car or motorcyle would be great too. I have taken the north shore drive from Duluth to Thunderbay, Canada and it is great, tons of really neat waterfalls. It is a really long way around the lake so plan for several days.
Lots to see in Duluth, harbor, railroading, etc.
