With the ridge-till in mind I have a farmer near me that is running a Orthman 1 triper right down the ridge placing NH3 then the closing discs are rebuilding the ridge. Looks like the best of both worlds. Ridge and Strip Till. This is the first year being done so haven't observed planting conditions yet. I'm not sure on a corn on corn situation with 180 lbs on NH3 directly under the seed if the corn plants will get burned or not.
Which strip till unit are you most happy with???
