Agent Orange: Friendly fire that keeps on burning. | Back in the day when I was farming with 2 wheel drive tractors, the ones equipped with a 3-Pt. didn't have a draw-bar that was as heavy and that would swing as wide. The non 3-Pt tractors had a different draw bar setup. Turning with hitch type loads usually required leaving the draw bar to swing and also a vigorous application of one wheel brake. Folks here tended to discount work tractors that had the 3 Pt. as they were clumsy and hard on one brake. For my uses, I still wouldn't have a 3-Pt tractor on the place. No, Wait, I take that back. There is one toy tractor that my lady uses for veggie growing. She insisted on a 3-Pt for that green Japanese thing.
