Shortone replied in this thread about his incredible tool for cutting his own spiral wrap from black water pipe

While I have not yet attempted to make a cutter to make my own wrap I have done some more looking around in an attempt to find other cost effective sources.

These prices seem very high considering everything.

Some more digging around on the web turned up some stuff on Amazon.

Safe Spiral on Amazon

Which got me to the manufacturer of this stuff in Canada.

Looks like they offer different sizes and colors.

And even a multi layered product that when worn down the inner color shows through.

It appears they also have nylon sleeves and wraps.

It was a bit disappointing though, since I emailed them to ask about buying direct and suggesting other avenues where they could get their product more visibility in the Ag sector. Sadly there was no reply and no response.

Still not as cheap as Shortone's make your own tool would do but I thought it seemed like a good lead that maybe others would appreciate. I was unable to find anything like this locally and anything else similar was astronomically high.

I've got some ordered via Amazon so will see how it works out for my small project.
