just battery cable and ends. dont even bother with crimpers. i solder all of mine. i get the solder bullets from napa.


I do the same. I have a wire brush end for my drill to clean the terminal. I flux the wire, heat the terminal with torch, fill with regular solder and shove the cable into the terminal. Shrink tube and install. Not saying that this is the proper way, but it has been working well for me for years. Every time I have to install new batteries I take the time to switch over to stud type. Lead post always seem to be problematic.
