Relief must not be set right. plumb a gauge in and see what pressure it takes to where it doesn't lift the back of the vehicle. It is a simliar setup to a combine header. If you are going along and one end of the header comes in contact with the ground the relief diverts either to the other side of the cylinder or to tank.
