But I didn't see any set requirement/constraint of time in the equation. IE: if you drove for 3 hours? Total distance isn't really mentioned either but it's assumed: "home to point A" and "point A to home" so the only distance measurement is 1/2 a trip, or which could be a straight line. The "mph" factor is only used as a measurement of speed of an object not any time= distance traveled in relation to the overall equation. So,, all that said. If I drove 10 miles at 30 mph and 10 miles at 90 mph my average speed for the 20 miles would be 60 mph. Actual time elapsed is not part of the equation. I think............ btw thank's for the insight to your idea of fun.... LOL ... What is the next "just for fun" question ?? Which came first chicken or the egg? lol... Don't you have some fun you could be doing out in your shop?? LOL !!!
