Subject: Agreed.

Nusbaum Farms LLC Bellfountain, OR
If I was interested in a loader tractor at a sale, and they told me that it had to remain after the sale, it would lessen my top bid by at least 10%, probably more like 20%. Having God knows who driving the thing all around the farmyard loading awkward stuff leaves a lot of opportunity for iron in tires, hoods and grilles to be smashed, and all sorts of other issues. No excuse for taking it early though. The best thing an auctioneer can do is rent an all-terrain forkift for the sale.

Another pet peeve of mine is when they sell the loader, then the tractor, then the two together. Whichever way brings the most money is the way it then goes. I understand why they do it, but it sure doesn't build any goodwill toward the auction company.
