I think $7k??? For one. I was looking to get more use from an irrigation pump. Never did it.
Most people take a frame cut engine from a junkyard. run chain- sprocket to jackshaft and take power off the other end inorder to reverse direction.
Governor is a challenge with an old truck, school bus and they tend to be way too big.
Propane or ng engines for irrigation are available.
