Western Iowa | You sure they priced the right one?
I blew up an end chain on my 1293 a couple weeks ago and peeled the cover open like a can of tuna. Steel cover was something like $225 and a poly cover was a little over $400. I tried to put the poly cover on and they don't interchange, so had to special order the steel cover.
I know mine is oil bath, but I can't hardly believe I can buy an oil bath cover so much cheaper than an old style shield. I think they may have quoted you the poly cover. | |
