SW Ohio | Well it was almost dark last night by the time we figured out what was wrong with the dryer. this morning I found the specs on the OMROM timer I have on another application, man that thing is versatile!!! You can set any on time from 1.2 seconds all the way up to 300 hours, same for the off time, from seconds to 300 hours, just by turning a couple screws on the front face! It has a 5 amp rating on the contacts and a million cycle lifespan. Got it wired in this morning and worked like a champ, the old timer was motor driven and the motor failed, guess this thing might be what more modern machines use, solid state vs mechanical.
Just another win for "engineered by inventory"!! | |
